1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal necessary information required to operate our micro-learning services:
- Authentication DataPhone numbers (collected via WhatsApp OTP verification), email addresses, or names provided during onboarding or Google OAuth authentication.
- Billing DataTransaction records and invoice details. Please note that no raw debit/credit card data ever touches or resides on Memodrop.io servers; all sensitive payment credentials are securely handled by our Merchant of Record gateway.
2. Strict Content Retention and Clearance Policy
We respect your privacy and do not store your educational materials indefinitely.
- Immediate PDF DestructionUploaded binary PDF files are processed instantly in ephemeral edge function memory to extract raw text and are permanently destroyed immediately after parsing. No local disk or permanent storage writes occur.
- 30-Day Automated ClearanceProcessed markdown files and video transcripts held in our database for re-processing or debugging are automatically set to NULL and completely purged by a daily automated cron job exactly 30 days after creation.
- Permanent RetentionGenerated flashcards and quizzes are considered derived study materials and are kept permanently in your profile history for your ongoing learning use unless you request account deletion.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
Your contact information is shared exclusively with our automated delivery infrastructure networks (such as WhatsApp delivery routing engines) strictly to facilitate sending your daily quiz metrics. We never sell or distribute your data to outside marketing firms.
